Overall good cost/value for a room with cooking facilities. However, the room was extremely compact. Positive: It was relatively good. It provided a stove and refrigerator and the necessary utensils, which was important for me. The manager, Monserath was kind and helpful. Negative: The selectric shower had no pressure. It was a chore to clean up in the morning, as there was also no bathmat provided. And the toilet seat would not "stay up." Also, the bed was elevated - like a bunk bed - so if you are not agile, it could be somewhat of a problem.

A decent place for a long term stay Positive: The location is near a park and a large grocery store and shopping, in addition to a few places to eat and some small tiendas. The property is clean, has a laundry and a good area to hang clothes to dry. The exercise facility is a bit run down, but usable. I like that the front gate has a lock as well as the lock on your individual apartment door. It gave me a sense of security. I appreciate the good use of space in the apartment. The kitchenette is sufficient (electric burner, microwave, sink, fridge) and minimal utensils, but functional. The bed is interesting and functional--it includes a slide out desk, hanging space, extra storage. Very compact. A fan came in handy for air circulation and to drown out noise. Negative: I'm a mature traveler. Climbing a ladder to get into bed was uncomfortable, especially in the middle of the night. Also, the only light switch to the room is at the door, so you have to turn off the light and climb in the dark. Safety hazard. Stairs would have been better and safer. I had not anticipated this feature and probably wouldn't have booked the place initially if I'd known about it. The location says it is "near" downtown, but it's more than a kilometer from central park. Because of all the hard surfaces, sound really bounces, so it can be noisy if you have a talkative neighbor, as I did. There was a motion sensor light just outside my window. With no curtains, it meant that the sensitive light came on SEVERAL times at night. Though the panes are frosted, it did little. I fashioned a curtain, but it wasn't the best. While I enjoyed the washing machines, water would be shut off occasionally for no reason I could fathom, without notice. Also, I had towels and a shirt stolen from the clothesline. I had to buy my own toilet paper. I also found the need to wash the shower curtain to kill the obvious mold on it, though the place was clean otherwise.

Ideal studio mini-apartment for a single person. Positive: Small loft studio ideal for one person. Included kitchen, bath, shower and all u need for a great stay. Negative: Not enough napkins, and only ideal for one person because its too small.
